Introduction

Tectra Technologies ("Tectra," "we," "us," or "our") provides software development, web development, mobile app development, UI/UX design, artificial intelligence solutions, blockchain development, digital marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), cloud services, DevOps, and related IT consulting services (together, the "Services").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit https://www.tectratechnologies.com (the "Site"), engage us for the Services, apply for a role with us, or otherwise interact with us.

We know most people don't read privacy policies end to end, so we've written this one in plain English wherever the law allows, and we've kept legal terms to the places where precision genuinely matters. If anything here is unclear, contact us — details are in Section 17.

02

Definitions

To keep the rest of this policy readable, here's what a few recurring terms mean:

User / You
Anyone who visits the Site, submits a form, applies for a job, or is a point of contact at a client or prospective client organization.
Processing
Anything we do with data — collecting, storing, using, sharing, or deleting it.
Personal Information
Any information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to an identifiable individual (for example, a name, email address, or IP address).
Client
A business or individual that has engaged Tectra for the Services under a signed agreement (a Master Services Agreement, Statement of Work, or similar).
Service Provider
A third-party company we use to help run our business (for example, a hosting provider or email tool), acting on our instructions.
Cookie
A small text file placed on your device by a website to remember information about you or your visit.
03

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • Visitors browsing https://www.tectratechnologies.com;
  • People who submit an inquiry, quote request, newsletter sign-up, or contact form on the Site;
  • Job applicants who apply through our Careers page; and
  • Individual contacts at client and prospective client organizations, in their capacity as a business contact (not as consumers).

This Privacy Policy does not apply to:

  • Data processed on behalf of a client under a signed Master Services Agreement, Statement of Work, or Data Processing Agreement — that processing is governed by the terms of that specific contract, not by this Policy;
  • Third-party websites we link to (see Section 15); or
  • Information you may share with us offline (for example, at a conference), which we handle in line with the principles in this Policy but which is not a "Site" interaction.
04

Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: information you give us directly, information collected automatically, and information from cookies and similar technologies.

4.1 Personal Information

Information you choose to give us, typically through a form or email. Examples include:

Contact details — name, email address, phone number, company name, and job title (for example, when you submit our "Get a Free Quote" form).

Project details — a description of your project, budget range, timeline, or technical requirements, when you request a proposal or consultation.

Job application details — resume/CV, cover letter, work history, and portfolio links, if you apply through our Careers page.

Communications — anything you send us by email, contact form, or chat, including the content of that message.

Example

If you fill out our "Talk to Us" form with your name, work email, and a note describing your project, that entire submission is Personal Information under this Policy.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of information (such as health data, government ID numbers, or financial account details) through the Site, and we ask that you avoid including this type of information in any form or message to us.

4.2 Technical Information

Information collected automatically when you use the Site, such as:

  • IP address and approximate geographic location (city/country level);
  • Browser type and version, device type, and operating system;
  • Pages viewed, time spent on pages, referring/exit pages, and click patterns;
  • Date and time of your visit.

We use this information in aggregate to understand how the Site is used and to keep it secure — we don't use it to identify you personally unless it's combined with other information you've given us (for example, a form submission).

4.3 Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) for a few purposes:

Cookie TypePurposeExample
Strictly NecessaryRequired for the Site to functionRemembering your cookie consent choice
AnalyticsUnderstand how visitors use the SiteGoogle Analytics tracking page views
FunctionalRemember preferencesRemembering a selected language or region
Marketing (where used)Measure campaign performanceConversion tracking for an ad campaign

You can control cookies through your browser settings at any time, and where required by law, through a cookie consent banner on the Site. Disabling non-essential cookies won't stop you from browsing the Site, but some features (like remembering a form you started) may not work as smoothly.

05

How We Use Your Information

We use the information described in Section 4 to:

Respond to you — answer your inquiries, provide quotes, and follow up on requests you submit through the Site.

Deliver the Services — manage and fulfill our contractual obligations to clients under a signed agreement.

Operate and improve the Site — analyze usage, fix issues, and improve the Site's content and performance.

Process job applications — evaluate candidates and manage recruitment for open roles.

Send marketing communications — share company updates, industry insights, and information about our Services, where permitted by law.

Maintain security — detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

Meet legal obligations — comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

We do not use your Personal Information for any purpose incompatible with the ones listed above without notifying you.

07

Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your Personal Information. We share it only in the following circumstances:

With Service Providers — who help us run our business (hosting, email delivery, analytics, CRM, scheduling tools), under contracts that limit their use of your data to the purpose we've engaged them for.

With professional advisors — (lawyers, accountants, auditors) where necessary for their services to us.

In a business transaction — if Tectra is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, Personal Information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

To comply with law — if required to respond to a subpoena, court order, or similar legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tectra, our clients, or others.

With your direction or consent — for example, if you ask us to share a reference with a named third party.

08

Third-Party Services

We use a limited set of third-party tools to operate the Site and our business, which may include (for example):

  • Website hosting and content delivery providers;
  • Analytics tools (such as Google Analytics);
  • Email and marketing automation platforms;
  • Customer relationship management (CRM) and scheduling software;
  • Payment processors, for client billing purposes.

Each of these providers processes data according to their own privacy policies and applicable data processing agreements with us. We choose providers that maintain reasonable security and privacy standards, and we do not authorize them to use your Personal Information for their own independent marketing purposes.

09

International Data Transfers

Tectra is headquartered in 3rd Floor, Alpha Block, SSPDL Alpha City, 301-B3, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Navalur, Tamil Nadu 600130, and serves clients across India, the United States, and other regions, including potentially the European Union and the United Kingdom. As a result, your information may be processed in a country other than the one in which you live, including India, the United States, and Malaysia.

Where we transfer Personal Information internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection, which may include:

  • Relying on contractual safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) with recipients outside your jurisdiction;
  • Working only with Service Providers who maintain appropriate security and confidentiality commitments; and
  • Limiting international transfers to what's necessary to provide the Services.

If you are located in the EEA or UK and would like more detail on the safeguards used for a specific transfer, contact us using the details in Section 17.

10

Data Retention

We retain Personal Information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to:

  • Respond to and manage an ongoing inquiry;
  • Fulfil a signed client agreement, plus any period required afterward for accounting, tax, or legal defense purposes;
  • Comply with applicable legal, accounting, or reporting obligations; and
  • Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

As a general guide, unconverted sales inquiries are typically retained for up to 24 months, and job applications for up to 12 months, after which they are deleted or anonymized unless you ask us to keep them longer or the law requires a different period. Client records tied to a signed agreement are retained per the retention terms in that agreement, or for a period consistent with applicable statutory limitation periods.

11

Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Our internal security practices are aligned with our ISO/IEC 27001:2013 information security management certification, which is independently audited.

These safeguards include, among others:

  • Access controls limiting Personal Information to employees who need it to do their jobs;
  • Encryption of data in transit for Site traffic (HTTPS);
  • Regular review of our security practices and vendor agreements.

No system can be guaranteed 100% secure. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your Personal Information, we will notify affected individuals and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

12

Depending on where you are located, you may have some or all of the following rights over your Personal Information:

CorrectionAsk us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
DeletionAsk us to delete your Personal Information, subject to legal retention requirements.

PortabilityAsk for your information in a portable format, where technically feasible.

If you are a California resident — you may also have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of Personal Information (we do not sell or share Personal Information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

If you are in the EEA or UK — you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe our processing of your Personal Information violates applicable law.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 17. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 30 days, or 45 days for CCPA/CPRA requests).

13

Children's Privacy

The Site and Services are directed at businesses and professional audiences, not children. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with Personal Information, contact us using the details in Section 17 and we will delete it promptly.

14

Marketing Communications

If you provide your email address (for example, by subscribing to our newsletter or requesting a resource), we may send you marketing communications about our Services, industry insights, or company updates, where permitted by law and, where required, with your consent.

You can opt out at any time by:

  • Clicking the "unsubscribe" link included in every marketing email; or
  • Contacting us directly at info@tectratechnologies.com.

Opting out of marketing communications will not affect transactional messages related to an active project or inquiry (for example, a reply to a support request you submitted).

15

Links to Third-Party Websites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including client references, partner sites, social media platforms, or content we've cited in our blog. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site before providing information to it.

16

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or the Services we offer. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page; and
  • Where changes are significant, provide a more prominent notice on the Site (for example, a banner) before the change takes effect.

We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Continued use of the Site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
